In a generation plagued with displays of self-centredness and materialism, it’s pleasantly surprising to see these kids diving deep into the sadaqah spirit of Ramadan in an uplifting video clip that has since gone viral online.
Recently, a group of selfless students from Marsiling Secondary School engaged in an act of charity by buying some fresh new clothes for a homeless man drifting around Old Woodlands Town Centre, even after they gave him some money for food earlier.

Wearing a tattered t-shirt himself, the grizzled man with unkempt hair and beard expressed his extreme gratitude to the boys, and was even surprised that they were only Secondary 1 students. Looks like he got to look presentable just in time for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, bless their young hearts.
Whoever those kids are, their parents certainly raised them well.
