Tragedy struck on the wee hours of Tuesday morning when 63-year-old Wong For Choon was pronounced dead on the scene following a car crash along Jurong Town Hall Road.
The three-vehicle traffic accident occured at 5.40am underneath the Pan Island Expressway flyover, where Choon had lost control of his Mercedes-Benz and collided head on with a truck.
According to footage uploaded on the Singapore Reckless Drivers Facebook page, the accident was a lot gnarlier than it sounded. The impact immediately caused Choon’s car to catch fire while the truck driver was left dangling outside the windshield before the vehicle came to a stop against a trailer.
