Video: Flying airplanes never looked so amazing

A year ago, runway photographer Milton Tan, a self-confessed fantasy landscape lover, produced a time-lapse film called Air Trafficfeaturing airplanes flying to and from the Singapore Changi Airport.

Making do with a viewing spot off Changi Beach, Tan completed the film, which captured the moving planes in long exposures of up to 15 seconds, in six months.

The film was featured on the Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet and probably got the attention of the airport folk because in about a month, Tan will be premiering Air Traffic 2, shot right in the restricted runway area.
