The death of the Ducati rider on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) earlier this week was a tragedy, but new details have surfaced which might exonerate the man who was initially arrested following the accident.
It was reported that a 50-year-old Malaysian driver of a truck was arrested in relation to the 25-year-old motorcyclist’s fatal mishap on the highway, but it seems that he may not be in the wrong. Check out how it all really transpired — captured in a rear dashcam footage and uploaded on Facebook.
Hope this will help the innocent… Do share..

As you can see, an SUV driver clearly did not check the blindspot before attempting to make a lane change, bumping into the motorcyclist — which caused him to tumble underneath the wheels of the truck.
The Straits Times reports that the 43-year-old woman behind the wheel of the SUV was arrested the day after the accident, after further investigations. Both the truck driver and the woman are out on bail while investigations continue.
May justice prevail.
