Sorry BMW drivers, another one of your brethren just brought down your street cred once again.
If not for his quick wit and his Volkswagen GTI’s excellent brakes, motorist/metalhead Shaun Tan would have gotten himself into some twisted metal when a silver BMW suddenly emerged from the slip road from ECP Service Road — against the flow of traffic.
His senses and adrenaline already heightened from the near-death experience (and Trivium’s Silence in the Snow), Tan parked for a bit afterwards to sort out his car and himself out before carrying on his merry journey… until he found himself behind the very same BMW.
“After driving the entire stretch of the ECP Service Rd, our driving champ once again drives AGAINST TRAFFIC at around Car Park F3,” exclaims Tan.
“Since driving against traffic is generally a bad idea, I decided against following him further. Honestly, I have no bloody idea where he was intending to go after that, because, looking at Google Maps, that’s about 1km in wrong frickin’ direction!”
Yeap, you can see in the second part of the video where the dumbass drives against traffic again, despite the clear No Entry sign and the huge arrow on the road.
So, near death experience today thanks to this dumb schmuck. Silver BMW, license plate SJY5760G. Thank God for the GTI’s…
