On Sunday night, a few individuals were involved in a savage brawl that went down at People’s Park Complex in Chinatown. It’s unclear what caused the dispute, but from the looks of the video circulating social media, the fight involved at least four people and got increasingly violent as the seconds ticked by.

According to The Straits Times, the police confirmed that they were alerted to the case of dispute at 10:44pm at 1 Park Road. STOMP reported that the fight had ceased by the time officers arrived, but one 29-year-old man was foolish enough to flee the scene when he saw them approaching.

Naturally, the police officers chased after him, and the guy ended up handcuffed for attempting (unsuccessfully) to attack a cop with a glass bottle. He was arrested for criminal force against a public servant, a police spokesman said.

Watch the fight below (although the video doesn’t show which individual was the one arrested).

Investigations are ongoing.
