Lock up your doors and pray that Hades won’t unleash the Titans — five planets of the Solar System will align diagonally in the cosmos and they’ll be visible to the naked eye from tomorrow morning till the end of February.
Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are appearing together for the first time since 2005, and Jan 27 will be an even more special treat with the Moon aligning together with the planets.

The Royal Astronomical Society’s Dr Robert Massey mentioned to Telegraph that spotting Mercury will be difficult, considering it’s low proximity to the horizon — but other planets should be pretty east to spot. The best time to catch the alignment would be 6.30am, according to the Science Centre Observatory, and the planets will be fairly bright enough to see without equipment.
