Surprisingly beating the likes of Disneylands in Hong Kong and Japan, Universal Studios Singapore (USS) remains top dog in Tripadvisor’s list of top amusement parks in Asia.
It’s the third time in a row Tripadvisor awarded the Traveller’s Choice award to USS, with tonnes of rave reviews on their website by both tourists and locals. The likes of Hong Kong’s Ocean Park, Tokyo’s DisneySea and Malaysia’s Legoland were no match for the park in Sentosa, whose biggest attraction ‘Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon’ is a ride that keeps breaking down, if it does run at all.
Meanwhile, another local attraction that made it to the top echelons of Tripadvisor’s award list is none other than the Adventure Cove Waterpark, which ranks on the sixth spot in the top 10 water parks in Asia. Adventure Cove trails behind the likes of Malaysia’s Sunway Lagoon, Thailand’s Black Mountain Water Park and Indonesia’s Waterbom Bali, which tops the list.
Tripadvisor has always been a great source of information for tourists about attractions and hotspots — especially considering the fact that they place riding the MRT as the second-best thing to do in Singapore.
