Two passersby injured when lorry plunged into canal

Another accident involving moving company vehicles occurred yesterday night, and this time a lorry belonging to Shalom Movers has chosen to take a plunge into a canal along Ubi Avenue, injuring two.

According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), they were deployed to the incident at 7.48pm, finding two injured passersby — one with a fractured arm, while the other suffering from back pain. Both were sent to Changi General Hospital, Channel NewsAsia reports.

Just two days ago, a lorry belonging to Vimbox Movers Singapore caught on fire along Lentor Avenue, causing a massive traffic jam in the area.
