Here’s an adorable perk-me-up to help you forget your commuting woes from last night and this morning. Several Hawksbill turtle hatchlings received a little help from their friends after they were spotted struggling to make their way to sea at East Coast Park on Wednesday evening (Aug 16).

Park visitors who saw the baby turtles distracted and confused by the bright street lights notified the National Parks Board (NParks), and the organization sent over staff members to help members of the public guide the hatchlings to a more appropriate location.

“We are encouraged by the community’s efforts in helping these 32 young hatchlings start on their life journey!” NParks said in a Facebook post.

All together now — awwww.

PSA: If you happen to spot any of these turtles, NParks wants to remind you to keep your distance, speak softly and contact its helpline (1800-471-7300). Touching the turtle may scare or provoke it, and handling its eggs may damage them.
