Traffic collision sends SMRT bendy bus careening onto pavement in Chua Chu Kang

Oh dear, we have another major traffic accident on our hands. 

It was around 2pm on Saturday afternoon at Choa Chu Kang Drive where an SMRT bendy bus – service number 302 – was bumped into from the back by a car, crashing the huge vehicle onto the pavement near Block 698B, leaving five passengers (two aged seven, one aged 12) injured.

All five have been sent to a hospital since — the 7-year-olds were taken to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, while the 12-year-old was sent to NUH with a woman aged 60. The bus driver – aged 52 – was sent to Ng Teng Fong Hospital.
