Tony Fernandes is a Singapore Airlines (SIA) fanboy.
The AirAsia Group CEO had flown the airline yesterday to Sydney to speak about “exciting plans for Australia and deal with issues”, and had commended the “superb crew” for their “camaraderie”.
Sydney’s also home to the Queen Park Rangers Football Club, which Fernandes bought in 2011.
The chairman of several other successful institutions including the Caterham and Tune Groups, has been in a good mood lately.
On March 11, he announced on Twitter that despite the recent QZ8501 tragedy, Air Asia companies continue to do excellently and are expecting a good quarter.
