As if the particularly heavy haze conditions last night weren’t enough, firefighters had to battle a blaze that ignited out of the blue at Admiralty Primary School in the wee hours of the morning.
Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers were alerted to the fire in the school in Woodlands around 2am, breaking into the premises using forcible entry tools. Channel NewsAsia reports that they attended to the blaze which originated inside a toilet at the administration block of the school — surely a mystery that requires heavy investigation.
The fire was extinguished promptly with a water jet. No injuries and no evacuation was required, because it was two in the frickin’ morning.
