Tigerair flight to KL forced to turn back to Changi

Better safe than sorry.

A Tigerair flight to Kuala Lumpur turned back to Changi Airport yesterday afternoon as a safety precaution, nearly 30 minutes after takeoff.

The captain supposedly cited inclement weather.

However a passenger interviewed by Channel NewsAsia claims to have been told by a cabin crew that the plane’s radar was unable to detect Kuala Lumpur’s airport.
