Thirsty Singapore juice sellers mix up juice with semen in raunchy marketing

A Singapore juice bar is leaning hard into the old marketing cliche of “sells” without the slightest attempt at subtlety.

There’s no innuendo spared by Sugar Daddy Sugarcane Juice Specialist, which opened last month at Bukit Batok Crescent, which has succeeded in getting noticed with numerous provocative taglines and graphically suggestive imagery to promote their drinks. That it would take an over-the-top approach was obvious before day one with ads repeatedly mentioning it was “cumming soon.” 

“Like something thick and creamy in your mouth? 😏 Boba thai milk tea is now available!” one of its latest ads said. Another post tried to lure customers with drinks it claimed would “make you suck it dry.”

Sugar Daddy’s logo? A dude mid-orgasm. 

“This is what we call the ‘sugarcane orgasm face,’ [guarantee] you will have this face after drinking our exotic juice,” the company says of the logo in its marketing materials.

As for the actual juice, the stall sells a variety of blended drinks starting at S$1.80 per cup. They include lemongrass sugarcane, passionfruit, and mango, with a choice of toppings such as pearls in gula melaka, or palm sugar, Chia seeds, and mango coconut jelly.
