Singapore is widely known as one of the world’s most expensive cities to live in (if not the most expensive). So it’s no surprise that we’ve got a polished, gleaming glass building in Jalan Bukit Merah housing a grand collection of dream cars. Inside this glossy, 15-storey tower — which luxury lifestyle publication Senatus claims to be the world’s largest luxury car ‘vending machine’ — you’ll find supercars like Bentleys, Ferraris, McLarens, Lamborghinis, Porsches and more.
The showroom, owned by automobile dealer Autobahn Motors, displays more than 60 of the million-dollar vehicles in plain sight. And if you’re wondering how the cars get stacked up like that, it’s actually with the use of the Automotive Inventory Management System (AIMS), created by the owners of Autobahn Motors.
The car inventory, retrieval and display network uses a ‘fish-bone’ system to minimize wind resistance and allow for quick car storage speed. Apparently, the retrieval speed of cars is kept under two minutes.
It’s quite a sight to behold, especially when night falls and the building gets illuminated. Perhaps something for the next Fast & Furious flick to consider? Check it out below.
