An 18-year-old teenager has been placed under three-year probation and ordered to perform 10 days of community service under a SGD5,000 bond for growing cannabis in a pot and for other drug-related offences, including diamorphine trafficking.
Adith Sarvotham reportedly committed the offences between December 2012 and April 2013.
The sentence would’ve been heavier, but the court took into account that Adith had already stopped consuming drugs, smoking and even drinking, and was remorseful.
