Survey by Families for Life Council finds top priority for Singaporeans is… family

So the Families for Life Council in Singapore — previously known as the National Family Council — conducted a survey on family bonds from January to March this year. And the result? Family came out tops on the list of most important priorities for Singaporeans. Not surprising at all.

Out of more than 700 people, 92 percent put family over five other choices: personal health, financial stability, career, friendships and hobbies. Popular activities for family bonding included sharing meals, celebrating special occasions and having heartfelt talks. Half of the respondents said they spent over 36 hours every week with immediate family members, while for 10 percent, it was less than six hours.

Nothing groundbreaking here. This netizen’s comment sums up the survey and its findings best.
