What was that? Unlimited data? Apparently so. Seems like StarHub has heard your cry for help and offered assistance in the form of free unlimited weekend local data with its new mobile postpaid plans.
Basically, that means from midnight on Saturdays to 11:59pm on Sundays, you can pretty much surf Facebook, watch YouTube videos and spend hours on Instagram without worrying about that nagging feeling at the back of your mind telling you to save data or risk incurring excess charges.
The telco made the announcement on Wednesday (Aug 30), stating that weekends aside, customers can choose between 3GB and 15GB of bundled data, with prices that start from $48 for the former.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the price tags that come with the new plans are slightly higher than StarHub’s current standard 4G plans, which start from $42.90 for 3GB of data.
But hey, if this promise of unlimited weekend data appeals to your inner smartphone addict, you can sign up for the plans online, at StarHub shops, at authorized dealers or at COMEX 2017 starting tomorrow.
Now it’s up to M1 and Singtel to up their game.
