CEO of Glenn Defense Marine Asia Ltd. Leonard Francis, has been arrested for bribing a US Navy commander and a Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) agent with luxury travel and prostitutes in order to commit fraud.

CNN reported that the Singapore-based defense company has had “husbanding” contracts for Navy ships at ports worldwide for 25 years and Francis had been accepting insider information from Michael Misjewicz and John Beliveau II, allowing him to overcharge on the contracts by millions of dollars.

Francis, as well as the two Navy officers involved, face up to five years in prison each if convicted.
