Spread the word — BooksActually needs you. With ten more months to go before its lease at Yong Siak Street runs out, the indie book shop is working towards securing a permanent home. If you’re been following its journey, you’ll know that it has moved spaces twice since its inception in 2005 — from Telok Ayer to Club Street to its current location.
You can do your part and help out by going shopping. And you don’t even have to make the trip to Tiong Bahru. Check out its online store for works on art, culture, poetry and plays. The extensive collection also includes totes, specialty magazines, titles by local authors, a range by Math Paper Press and prints by Silk Studios.
