The driver of a Honda sedan and his two passengers had to be conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital after a speeding Jaguar slammed right into them while traveling along the Seletar Expressway yesterday morning.
The Jaguar driver didn’t just crash into the car — the driver managed to wreck a van as well in a reckless accident early Sunday morning. A dash cam clip shared on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page shows the moment of impact, in which the luxury car driver was caught screaming down the highway (at over 150 km/h, according to the uploader) before it sideswiped the two other vehicles while attempting to switch lanes.
As one could see, the Honda ended up smashing right into the barrier on the left-most lane. The van was hit as well, but managed to stay the course. The Jaguar X Type car got wrecked after the car bounced off two barriers before coming to a stop on the left road shoulder.
The police confirmed to STOMP that they were alerted to the accident at 5:57am, where three casualties in the Honda were conveyed conscious to hospital with minor injuries to the neck and back. The people in the Jaguar and the van were said to be unhurt.
A picture taken later that day showed the Jaguar sedan being towed away.
As much as the Jaguar driver was condemned, the driver of the car with the dash cam wasn’t let off the hook for speeding as well — apparently at 130 km/h, according to SG Road Vigilante.
