To accommodate for participants of the ever popular Standard Chartered Marathon this Sunday, SMRT has announced that their train services will be running earlier.
Trains along the North-South line, East-West Line, Circle Line and even the Bukit Panjang LRT will have commuting services begin as early as 2.30am for trains departing from Jurong East MRT station towards the Marina Bay, Joo Koon MRT towards Jurong East and from HarbourFront MRT station to Dhoby Ghaut.
SMRT bus services including 61, 75, 77, 106, 167, 171, 190, 700A, 851, 960, 961 and 970 will be diverted from 1am to 3.30pm due to road closures along parts of the city area.
