Singaporeans and Taiwanese visiting each other will soon be able to access public transport and attractions using one common card, Channel NewsAsia reports

EZ-Link and its Taiwan counterpart EasyCard, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop the Cross Border Combi Card, a cross border contactless that pays for public transport and admission into venues like the zoo.

The card will contain separate ‘purses’ for Singapore and Taiwan currency, and is expected to launch in a year.
