Singaporean woman found dead in Bali hotel bathtub with a cup of coffee

A woman from Singapore was unexpectedly found dead in her hotel room’s bathtub in Pecatu, Bali on Monday.

Hua Ming’s mouth was foaming when she was discovered dead at Anantara Hotel by a room attendant and there was oddly a cup of coffee in her room, reports Tribun Bali

Police saw no indication of violence on the 50-year-old’s body during an external examination.

Ming had apparently been staying at the hotel since Jan. 23 with two friends (one from China, one from Singapore), but both friends checked out on Sunday, Jan. 24.

South Kuta Police Chief I Wayan Latra told the press that in addition to finding the victim’s body, police also found a cup of coffee and bread where she was found.

The Singaporean’s body has reportedly been sent to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar to determine her cause of death.
