Singaporean girl found stabbed to death in Brisbane hotel

Meena Narayanan was found dead with stab wounds in her stomach at the Travelodge in Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane, on March 25.

Screams could be heard from the hotel room she was in, but when police managed to force their way in just after 12:30am, she was already dead.

The 27-year-old student is believed to have been stabbed by the man found in the room with her — the 31-year-old Indian from South Africa was sent to the PA Hospital for his suspected self-inflicted wounds.

Meena was doing her Masters in Business at the Queensland University of Technology.
