Kah Chuan Hoong just successfully pulled off a crazy idea for a road trip — driving his souped-up Nissan GT-R all the way from Singapore to the Base Camp at Mount Everest. Madness!
The planning for the trip took him over 18 months — as it should for such an ambitious journey. But you can’t knock on his far-fetched aspirations because he just became the first person to ever arrive at the Everest Base Camp in any kind of supercar. Now that he’s unlocked that achievement, his return trip sounds even more epic — he’ll be spending an extra four days driving past deserts and grasslands in China, Thailand, and Malaysia before arriving back home in the middle of November. Godspeed you, Kah Chuan Hoong.
