Just a couple more weeks to to the sixth season of Game of Thrones! With the show going beyond George R. R. Martin’s last book in his A Song of Ice and Fire series, we won’t know which beloved character of ours will horribly kick the bucket next — but hey, when you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die.
Death is, of course, one central theme in the whole series, and local designer Yu Sheng Teo recognises that, so he recently created a pretty fun way to recap the whole story from the past five seasons — a memory game to recall which character died first. Here’s the link to the game.
Though we’ve lost count of the bodies that’ve piled up in Westeros and beyond so far, Teo painstakingly counted 42 main deaths in total, illustrating their portraits and animating how they died. It’s a really fun game in our opinion — but definitely not as easy as you’d think. Challenge your friends to see and compare your high scores to see how big of a Game Of Thrones nerd you are too. Of course, you won’t be able to play it properly if you haven’t caught up with all five seasons already (which you really frickin’ should).
