Singapore’s beloved baby bear turns 1 next month, and everyone is invited to celebrate.

While baby Le Le’s special day is actually Aug. 14, the feisty furball, now weighing in at 30 kilograms, will celebrate it for a whole month at the River Wonders zoo.

Every Friday to Sunday from Aug. 5 to Sept. 11, visitors can engage with panda-themed activities, day and night.

Apart from spotting Le Le messing with his mom and roommate Jia Jia in the Giant Panda Forest enclosure, visitors can watch out for a bamboo-inspired birthday cake display, specially designed for the birthday boy, which will spark fireworks hourly.

There will also be light displays along the Amazonia Boardwalk, a lit-up tunnel filled with LED decorations, and other illuminated art installations.

Activities include penning well wishes for the birthday blob, taking photos with giant panda mascots, and crafting activities like making an LED canvas display or shadow box light art.

Tickets to the birthday bash start from S$36 but do note that the Giant Panda Forest, Squirrel Monkey Forest Amazon River Quest will only be open during the day.
