See anything questionable? Better get your phone ready!

A woman who was a customer in a restaurant noticed another diner feeding her dog using cutlery from the restaurant and whipped out her phone hoping to catch her in the act.

However, she alleged that the other woman was “too fast” so she was not able to record the unhygienic act on video.

@abibeautyvlog Eww! She fed her dog with restaurant spoon.It’s too fast, so I couldn’t capture it in my video, no cap. I told restaurant mgr they must throw away those spoons. #disgusting #sgfoodie #sgfoodies  #singapore #eww #omg #fypsg #funny #disgusted   #sgfood  #sgrestaurant  #dogowners #comedies  #yucks ♬ original sound  – abigailng

Still, TikTok user @Abibeautyvlog, or Abigail Ng put up the video on the platform with the caption: “Eww! She fed her dog with restaurant spoon.It’s too fast, so I couldn’t capture it in my video, no cap. I told restaurant [manager] they must throw away those spoons.”

No doubt it’s a pretty unhygienic thing to do, regardless of whether the spoons are going to be thoroughly washed or not. But some commenters felt that Ng was being too “paranoid” or did not see a problem with sharing a spoon with a dog.

Ng tried to defend herself by replying to the haters and explaining that, as much as she was a dog lover, she felt that it was inconsiderate of the diner to do that.

Whether you disagree with her or not, according to the Environmental Public Health (Food Hygiene) Regulations, if an animal is brought into a licensed premise where pets are allowed, no person shall feed the animal or cause the animal to be fed using any crockery, utensil, container, receptacle, appliance or implement which is or will be used for the consumption of any food by a human being.
