Singapore is second most competitive in the world in terms of talent

Singapore is second most competitive in the world in terms of talent, according to INSEAD‘s recently released Global Talent Competitiveness Index.

Losing only to Switzerland, Singapore is also the only Southeast Asian country featured in the top 10, beating countries like Denmark and Sweden.

The report states that even though Singapore excels in areas such as formal education (eighth place) and higher level skills (second place), its talent impact (25th place) could be strengthened by more emphasis on its entrepreneurial activities (45th place).

Earlier on, the city-state was also voted as the third best city to pursue a degree and is considered by many to be the safest country to live and raise children in.
