A Thai restaurant in Singapore said they stopped receiving threats after reporting a hostile customer who ordered a Phad Thai with a side of hate.

87 Just Thai Killiney on 57 Killiney Road told Coconuts today that investigations toward an unidentified GrabFood user, whose username is translated to “Asshole,” are ongoing after the user sent an order in with a note that said:  “Your father died, fuck you.”

“No, we have not heard from the user since,” the restaurant said. “An investigation officer has been assigned to this case and they have started investigation.”

The restaurant posted about the incident online on Friday with a photo of the receipt that included the insulting note in quotations below an order of Phad Thai with Chicken. They canceled the order after the user allegedly continued to threaten to give 1-star reviews and called them an “asshole” and a “smart mouth.”

They soon filed a police report as they do not “condone any forms of abuse to our staff members.” They have no clue who the user is and why the user is being this angst.

Both the police and Grab contacted them immediately after the reports but no further updates have been given since, the restaurant said.

Grab has not immediately responded to Coconuts’ queries requesting comment.
