If you never need something non-mainstream (and non-serious) to see or read involving our politicians, TikTok account @whiskerwonderwoman is the place to be.
The page, who claims to have a “chronic simp disease” and tells users not to judge, is populated with content of fan edits, thirsty memes and fanfics of figures like Lawrence Wong, Baey Yam Keng, Tan Chuan Jin, Tin Pei Ling and more.
It’s not all pro-PAP though, there are also edits of Pritam Singh and Jamus Lim from the Worker’s Party too.
One of the fanfics posted details an encounter of meeting their idol, Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
The delusional story begins when Lawrence Wong is sitting in front of you at the National Day Parade and then it really escalates to dates and the DPM buying your favourite White Rabbit candy. A+ for imagination.
The best bit about the photos used is that none of it is photoshopped, these are from clips and photos our politicians have actually put up on their social media platforms. There’s stuff like National Development of Singapore Minister Desmond Lee doing push ups, Baey Yam Keng changing his shirt and Lawrence Wong playing guitar.
