Singapore may experience the occasional slight haze: NEA

Singapore may experience the occasional slight haze, warned the National Environment Agency (NEA) in an advisory issued March 2, due to the accumulation of particulate matter under stable atmosphere conditions, particularly in the morning.

NEA also revealed in the announcement they’d discovered 70 hot spots in Sumatra that day, but assure prevailing northeasterly winds will keep the smoke away from Singapore.

Singapore can also expect continued fair and warm conditions in the next few days.
