Singapore Changi Airport records increase in passenger traffic

Changi Airport sure is living up to its reputation of being the best airport in Asia-Pacific for a consecutive eight years.

Passenger traffic has reportedly increased by 3.2 percent to 4.41 million this October compared to the same month in 2012.

Aircraft landings and take-offs have increased by 6.7 percent to 29,500, while airfreight movement has risen by 1.8 percent, maintaining at a stable 1.85 million tonnes in the past year.

Changi Airport also observes that more than 100 airlines currently connects the city-state to more than 200 cities in 60 countries and territories around the world.
