When it comes to the best city for university students to study in, Singapore is ranked at number three — behind Paris and London.
According to the Best Student Cities index by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Singapore has rose nine places since the last edition to being the third-best city to study in.
Two of its universities, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University are among the top 50 universities in the world according to the 2013/2014 QS World University Rankings — standing at the 24th and 41st place respectively.
Besides being prominent in its education sector, Singapore is also voted as being the safest country to live and raise children in, according to a survey done by HSBC on expats.
