Singapore Airlines to fly to Stockholm via Moscow from May 30 next year

From May 30 next year, Singapore Airlines will fly to Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden. As of now, the airline flies to Moscow, Russia, four times a week – but starting from May 30, its new Airbus 350-900 jets will make five trips per week, and the flights will continue the journey to Arlanda Airport in Stockholm.

Currently, there aren’t any direct flights between Singapore and Stockholm. The Swedish city will be the airline’s second destination in the Scandinavia region, after Copenhagen in Denmark.

The new services will be included in a joint venture agreement between SIA and Scandinavian Airlines, subject to approval from competition authorities. The agreement, which covers flights between Singapore and Scandinavia, was put in place in 2013.
