Singapore Airlines cancels 19 Bangkok flights over protests

Singapore Airlines will cancel 19 flights Singapore-Bangkok over the next few weeks because of lower demand to visit the Kingdom over fear of political protests.

Singapore Airlines, which flies five times a day to Bangkok, will cancel about one in 10 flights between Jan 14 and Feb 25, according to the Straits Times.

Customers whose flights have been canceled will be switched to other flights or refunded if they choose to cancel, said airline spokesman Nicholas Ionides.
