Things aren’t looking too good for Jover Chew and co. who have since been charged in court this morning over cheating cases at the now-shuttered Mobile Air shop at Sim Lim Square.
The infamous shop shot to nationwide infamy after several widely publicised reports of their errant dealings with customers that saw many tourists being swindled out of their money.
Chew and the four other men arrested on Wednesday now face between one to 26 charges each over their involvement in a series of cheating cases, The Straits Times reports. Chew — the owner of Mobile Air — faces 25 charges of cheating and one criminal intimidation charge.
This would make a lot of his previous victims very happy, especially for Vietnamese tourist Pham Van Thoai who had broken down and begged on his knees, pleading Chew to return the money he was cheated out of in a case that went viral last year.
