Soon you’ll be able to fly non-stop from Singapore to Hiroshima, Japan, when SilkAir launches its new route on Oct 30 this year. Running three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the return flight service will be operated by the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The on-board experience includes everything from in-flight meals to wireless in-flight entertainment to baggage allowances of 40kg and 30kg for Business and Economy class passengers respectively.

After the Hiroshima route is launched, the Singapore Airlines-SilkAir network will offer flights to a total of six Japanese cities — two airports in Tokyo, as well as Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka — and SilkAir’s route network will increase to 54 destinations in 16 countries.
