SIA flight bound for Istanbul turns back after news of suicide bombings at Turkey airport

A Singapore Airlines flight on the way to Istanbul, Turkey, has turned back after a deadly suicide attack at Ataturk international airport. SQ392, which flew out from Changi Airport Terminal 3 early Wednesday morning, was supposed to land in Istanbul around noon, Singapore time.

The aircraft made a u-turn after the news broke, and is expected to land back in Singapore around 11am. 

If you haven’t heard by now, at least 36 people have been killed, and many more wounded, after a triple suicide bombing and gun attack at the Ataturk airport around 3am, Singapore time, on Wednesday.
