POSB customers, make sure you’re not ‘processing transactions’ on a dupe site.
DBS has released a statement saying that the URL http://home.e-posbsg.com/index/perso…s/default.html is a phishing site designed to steal important, confidential information such as customer IDs, PIN numbers and one-time passwords.
They’re reminding customers that the bank does not request for such information via email or phone and to not share it readily. Customers are also to practise typing the URL of the POSB website manually into the address bar and to update their browser to the latest versions, which may provide advanced security features such as anti-phishing and forged website identification.
