A total of 13 individuals have been arrested and detained in connection to the truly disturbing murder of a suspected secret society leader at a petrol station in Johor Baru on Sunday.
Seven of those nabbed — four male and three female Malaysian citizens — were apprehended in Singapore on Wednesday after the Royal Malaysian Police requested for assistance from the Singapore Police Force (SPF), The Straits Times reported. SPF confirmed that the seven suspects, aged between 19 and 23, have been handed over to Malaysian police.
Further comments were withheld due to ongoing investigations.

The 44-year-old victim, identified as Tan Ah Choy in various media reports, was attacked by four men as he checked the air pressure on the tires of his Volkswagen Polo. The victim was stabbed and had firecrackers thrown at him before being run over twice by the men.
The suspects made no effort to hide their identity, and the license plate of their white BMW was plainly visible throughout the attack.
The gory, shocking incident went viral within hours after witnesses uploaded the entire murder onto social media shortly after it occurred at 7:30pm last Sunday.
Police report that the murder was a result of two warring triad factions.
