This accountant should have really kept his lust under check and balance — he has been sentenced to 14 weeks in prison for taking upskirt videos of his colleague and other women.
31-year-old serial peeping tom Willy Yeo admitted to five of the 24 charges slapped on him, most of which were committed on public transport, The New Paper reports. He is receiving treatment for his voyeuristic disorder.
Yeo had bought a small black video recording device from eBay in 2012 and utilised it a year later by taping it underneath a desk belonging to his colleague while she was away for lunch.
When she returned, the device fell off, and she picked it up. Noticing a micro SD card in it, she opened the files inside and it showed Yeo fixing the device to the desk as well as unsavoury images beneath her skirt. The boss was informed and the police were called in.
In court, it was learned that Yeo had also committed other voyeuristic offences earlier in 2013, including recording an upskirt video of a victim using his mobile phone and taking an upskirt video of his friend at a park near Nicoll Highway.
Apparently, his voyeur habits were meticulous — he would note down the location, date and description of his victims so that he could remember when he rewatched his videos.
