Every Sunday from Dec 20 to May 8 next year, from 5:30pm onwards, the Sengkang and Punggol Light Rail Transit systems will undergo maintenance of the guideways. The wear and tear on these paths the trains move on could result in bumpy rides for passengers, thus the repair works.
This will not paralyse operations, however. Engineers only start working from 5:30pm and “LRT services will continue, but they will only operate in a single loop,” reports Channel NewsAsia.
