You’d best get to Sembawang Hot Spring — the only natural hot spring in Singapore — before it becomes a park, which could happen as soon as next year. The Gambas Avenue space, which is located in a military camp, has seen its fair share of regulars and curious visitors over the years.
Development of the new one-hectare park is expected to commence at the end of this year and be completed by end-2018. While some people prefer it to remain rustic and peaceful, others acknowledge the benefits of development and having better facilities in the area, The Straits Times reports.
