Singapore Airlines’ medium-haul budget carrier Scoot will be flying its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner in November this year.
CEO Campbell Wilson told CNBC that the savings incurred from replacing the company’s entire Boeing 777 fleet with 20 of these fuel-conserving planes — a move that will complete in full by mid-2015 — will be passed on to their customers.

The rapidly expanding airline is now serving 13 destinations across eight countries in Asia and Australia, and is known for continuously offering competitive prices with the ultimate comfort that can be afforded for medium-haul flights.
Scoot will be the first Singapore airline to fly the Dreamliner series.
