An SMRT taxi, a Nissan car and a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) ambulance collided at the junction of Bukit Batok Road and Brickland Road yesterday morning, leaving six people injured.
Unfortunately, the SCDF personnel were not able to self-medicate — four of the ambulance crew were also injured during the crash. They were responding to a medical case at the time of the accident.
The New Paper reports that the two other injured were from the Nissan car, one of whom was extricated from the wreck by SCDF officers.
All six injured were conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in stable condition. The tables were turned for injured ambulance crew, for it was them who needed the medical ministrations this time.
