We’re getting closer to the middle of the year, so here’s another long weekend for you. On the eve of yet another public holiday, SBS Transit will be extending some of their train and bus services.
Train services on the North East Line and Downtown Line will be extended by 30 minutes on the night before Vesak Day, with services on the Punggol and Sengkang LRT systems extended as well to coincide with the last train arrivals on the North East Line.
The last bus timings of 26 selected bus services will be extended at their respective bus interchanges as well.
Those heading to Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery to observe Vesākha can board Service 103A, which will only operate from the Ang Mo Kio Interchange to Sin Ming Road (Blk 25) this Sunday, from 1.35pm to 10.53pm and on Vesak Day itself from 7.27am to 5.42pm.
