A double-decker SBS bus 72 happened to end up on the opposite lane, having knocked down several railings before coming to a halt in an incident along Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 this morning.
The aftermath of the incident was caught on camera in a video submitted to Facebook page ROADS.sg, which shows the windscreen of the bus visibly shattered. A row of railings can also be seen strewn across the road.
Traffic police personnel were seen diverting traffic around the stationary bus, and only the first lane was freed up for motorists to pass.
